The federal government, ministry of petroleum and National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) have been made respondents in the request.
The petitioner has made the request that an expansion in the costs of oil-based goods is an infringement of the constitution. “Despite the decrease in the prices of petroleum products in the international market, the prices of petroleum products are illegally being increased every month by the government in Pakistan,” expresses the appeal.
