The Daily Notable (Web Desk) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-S) boss and previous congressperson Maulana Sami ul Haq has been wounded to death at his home in Rawalpindi, family says.
Maulana Hami ul Haq, child of Maulana Sami ul Haq, affirmed that his dad was killed in his room.
“My dad couldn’t join the challenge in Islamabad because of street blockage and came back to his home for rest because of his seniority,” he said. “His driver went out for thirty minutes and when he returned, he discovered Maulana lying in a pool of blood,” he said.
Maulana’s body was later moved to DHQ Doctor’s facility for medico-legitimate customs.
“Maulana Sami ul Haq has been killed. Little protests have emitted in Aabpara chowk. Everybody is encouraged to please remain at home for some time. We will take control of the circumstance in a while,” Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad tweeted.
Maulana Haseem, a central leader of the JUI-S, affirmed the passing of Maulana Sami ul Haq in the blade assault.
The news of his passing comes when religious gatherings are arranging across the nation protest the Preeminent Court’s vindication of Asia Bibi, a Christian lady, in a lewdness case.
