The Daily Notable (Web Desk) Jamiat Ulema-I-Islam chief Fazlur Rehman failed to persuade Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz preeminent leader Nawaz Sharif to go to the All Parties Conference on Sunday.
The JUI-F chief met the previous executive at the latter’s residence Jati Umrah as a component of his endeavors to join the opposition.
Sources disclosed that Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz and Pervaiz Rashid were likewise present in the gathering.
The sources said that the purpose of Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s visit to Sharif was to persuade the former prime minister to personally attend All Parties Conference (APC) that opposition plans to hold on October 31.
They said the maulana demanded that Nawaz Sharif should himself go to the APC so political circumstance could be examined yet the PMLN pioneer didn’t concur.
He, in any case, told the priest that a designation of his gathering would go to the APC.
Pakistan People’s Party pioneer Asif Ali Zardari has consented to go to the APC and was likewise ready to meet Mian Nawaz Sharif.
