A meeting with one of the young talented players of table tennis, Muhammad Waleed Iqbal, an upcoming star of our beloved country, was born in wah cantt, on 19th February 2002. He is currently doing his A levels at Beacon House Margalla, Islamabad. He’s been playing table tennis since grade 4 when he was only 9 years of age.
Table tennis has always intrigued him; one day due to rain, he wasn’t able to go out in school ground so he tried out table tennis for the first time with his friends. So this event turned out his life changing event and now he is a great player of table tennis. Since then he’s playing table tennis; at initial it wasn’t great, but after practising he started playing better. Then 2 years later, he joined a club where he started playing daily and his game improved alot.
By now he’s won almost more than 20 tournaments, including many school and inter city tournaments.
His most notable achievements are: winner of Pakistan ordinance factories u16 table tennis tournament 2017,
He remained captian of bss northern region table tennis team for 2 years, he is the best player in BSS nothern region, he also participated in the ICAS tournament 2019, he is winner of BSS table tennis tournament gujarat for 3 consecutive years.
