Corona Virus Alert Pakistan’s Infected Population Is Now Greater than China

There is a huge surge in the covid-19 patients as Pakistan surpasses China with 4600 new infections.
Till date China has reported 82,933 cases & with yesterday’s new cases in Pakistan the total tally is 85,264.
Yesterday a number of 4,688 new cases were confirmed & it is one of the highest number of cases in a single day.
About 82 deaths were also recorded and the total number of deaths is 1,770 which is pretty tragic.
Critics are saying that Imran Khan is risking due to lack of intent in inforcing lockdown and this strategy can be contentious to eradicate the virus.
Recently health department has issued an alarming report in which it declared “No workplace and residential area is disease-free”.
According to Dawn newspaper, the health department advised the chief minister to immediately enforce a complete lockdown for “at least four weeks,”
adding that asymptomatic cases became the “main source of infection and local transmission” in the city.
Henceforth it is important for government to take strict actions to curb the disease.
If lock down is not possible then strict Sop”s should be enforced on general population.

But there is huge misconception in the minds of common people that Corona is not a real threat.
Awareness programs might ensure the education of common public which will help to eradicate the virus.
