Tariq Aziz Host Of “Neelam ghar” Passed Away – Daily Notable

On Wednesday, World Famous Pakistani host of the country’s first number one, ever game show ‘Neelam Ghar‘, great actor as well as, politician, Tariq Aziz passed away in Lahore at the age of 84 years.
About His Career
He began his professional career from Radio Pakistan and was also one of the most recognizable voices on radio.

Furthermore, a renowned poet, Aziz was also a former parliamentarian in addition to a respected poet. Whereas, his hosting skills on the show ‘Neelam Ghar‘ made him a household name in Pakistan over the past four decades in the country.
He said, “I spoke to him on the phone a few days ago, I worried for him as he had ill for quite a long time.” Said Mustansir Hussain Tarar, speaking to private news channel. “I told him if it were not for the COVID-19 and other problems, I would have visited you.”
Praising Aziz’s versatility, Tarar said that he was the “biggest star of PTV”, adding that he had shown his talents as a compare, as an actor and as a poet.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed grief and condolence over the demise of Pakistan’s famed TV show host Tariq Aziz.
In a tweet, Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote that “Saddened to learn of the passing of Tariq Aziz. An icon in his time and a pioneer of our TV game shows. My condolences and prayers go to his family”.
CM Condoles Death of Tariq Aziz
On the other hand, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed the deep sense of sorrow over the death of famous TV compare, actor and poet Tariq Aziz. In a condolence message, he prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity. The CM further stated that Tariq Aziz introduced a new dimension of TV compering and he was known for his unique style.

Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of renowned television compare Tariq Aziz. Moreover Abdul Aleem Khan said that Tariq Aziz was a legend in Pakistan television industry and he was a patriot as well.
Abdul Aleem Khan expressed his condolences to the family and fans of Tariq Aziz and prayed that may Allah Almighty grant him a place in His mercy and able to his heirs to bear this trauma with courage and fortitude.
Executive Director, Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of renowned artist, Compare Tariq Aziz
Rai stated that Tariq Aziz Sahab was an icon of TV game show and was genuinely artistic in his style. She further said that Tariq Sahab was a kind-hearted person and was a great humanist who undoubtedly was a role model for our younger generation. Rai said that Tariq Sahab hosted his show for many years in Alhamra.
He introduced many trends through his work; he was the identity of Pakistan in the world. His relationship with Alhamra was old and powerful, today we have lost a positive person, the void created by the demise of Tariq Sahab will not be filled for centuries.
