Eight criminals including car lifter held seven bikes and car recovered -DN

According to the sources of Daily Notable, Islamabad police have arrested six criminals from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car, cash, valuables as well as other weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminal elements. Following these orders, DIG (Operations) Waqar-Ud-Din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime.
As per directions, SP (City) Omer Khan constituted special team under supervision of DSP Iqbal Khan. The team consists of SHO Aabpara police station, Sub-Inspector Shaukat Abbasi, ASI Gul Khan along with other officials, which successfully arrested a wanted member of robber’s gang identified as Ehsan Rashid. Police team recovered two snatched motorbikes, ATM Card cash from him while a car lifter namely Bila was also held besides recovery of a stolen car from him.
Moreover SP (Saddar ) Muhammad Sarfraz Virk constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP Abid Ikram including SHO Karachi Company Sub-Inspector Saleem Raza along with other officials which successfully arrested Shoaib Ali and recovered two snatched mobile phones and weapons along with ammunition from him.
Another team headed by DSP Khalid Mehmood Awan including SHO Golra police station Inspector Shams-Ul-Akber. ASI Rana Saleem along with others arrested three members namely Shah Shaib, Aslam and Naveed Akhter. They recovered four pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
Sihala police team nabbed Suleman and Aamir Iqbal and recovered five snatched bikes,five mobile phones, laptop, weapon and ammunition from them.
DIG (Operations) Islamabad Waqar Uddin Syed has appreciated the performance. He specifically directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities.
He said that it is the collective responsibility to remain alert against those involved in criminal activities; and inform police for action against them. – PUNA
