Justice Ali Baqir Najafi Inaugurated Mobile Application & Website of LHCBA

According to the sources of Daily Notable, Justice Ali Baqir Najafi of Lahore High Court, Lahore, has inaugurated the Beta version of Mobile Application and Web site of Lahore High Court Bar.
Upon arrival at the Lahore High Court Bar Association, Bar President Advocate Tahir Nasrullah Warraich and Secretary Barrister Haroon Doogal and other representatives of LHCBA welcomed the Judge. Justice Ali Baqir Najafi also inaugurated the IT and web hosting section in the library of the LHCBA.
Addressing to the inaugural ceremony, Justice Ali Baqir Najafi said that all members of the Bar deserve congratulations on launching of its website and application. The launch of a mobile application and website, compatible with modern age and requirements, has proved that it is very important for lawyers to have knowledge of Information Technology.
Justice Ali Baqir Najafi further said that the use of IT has increased during the period of Corona epidemic and keeping in view its importance, every institution is moving towards digitalization. This move of Lahore High Court Bar will prove to be supportive of many steps of the Lahore High Court.
Justice said that Lahore High Court is moving towards a paperless courting and with the help of Bar, In-shaa-Allah, we will soon cross this milestone. Highlighting the future plans of the Lahore High Court for IT, Justice further said that we have to keep pace with the world, so we are also working on electronic case filing and remote hearing.
Of course, this is a long process but we will have to do this. He said that during the recent visit to Karachi, he witnessed bio-metric verification case filing in Sindh High Court which was impressive. “Our dream is that one day we will have our mobile phone as a COURT, which will enable us e-filing of cases, remote hearing and through which lawyers will be able to get court decisions,” the judge concluded.
Earlier, Advocate Zeeshan Sulehria, Finance Secretary of Lahore High Court Bar, while talking about the features of the website and mobile application, said that the website and mobile application will be proved more helpful and user friendly for lawyers and their work will be transferred from manual work to digitization.
He added that soon the version of Mobile Application will be upgraded and more advanced. At the end of the ceremony, Justice Ali Baqir Najafi was also honored with an honorary shield by the representatives of Lahore High Court Bar Assocaiation. – PUNA
