UO female lecturer wins National Youth Award 2021 – Daily Notable

According to the sources of Daily Notable, Sana Yasin, Lecturer in Department of Computer Science, won the National Youth Award 2021, organized by EduCasa International and Minhaj Youth League, for her outstanding contribution in research and technology. For the award, she was evaluated on the basis of her academic record and research publications.

Commenting on Sana’s laurels, the department’s Chairperson, Dr Riaz Ul Amin, told that it was a matter of great pride and inspiration for the entire faculty.

He further said that as per the vision of the UO Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar, the Faculty of Computing were working rigorously on promoting and strengthening research culture in the university and for the provision of technology-based solutions to the society at large.
According to the university spokesperson, the Faculty of Computing had automated all major routine campus activities including admissions, fee collection, examination and results and also ensured the provision of high speed internet for the students in the entire campus. – PUNA
