Walton Cantonment Board’s outstanding performance on Eid Al Adha, 2022
Additional Commander Cantonment Executive Officer Muhammad Bilal Rasheed and Chief Public Health Officer Muhammad Waris Bhatti were active in the field on all three days of Eid-ul-Adha under the direction of Station Commander Brigadier Sajid Muzaffar and Cantonment Executive Officer Ali Irfan Rizvi.

On the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, a day before Eid, all mosques, madrasas, Eid-gahs and graveyards were cleaned and sprayed with lime powder. 367 conservation vehicles were arranged by the Walton Cantonment Board. 2000 sentry workers played a key role in the clean-up campaign in Walton Kent.
On behalf of Walton Cantonment Board, 300 banners, 300 steamers were installed and an awareness campaign was carried out with the help of commercial aids for the awareness of the residents of Walton Cantonment Board.
Moreover, on this occasion, 90000 biodegradable bags were donated among the residents of Walton Cantonment Board. 25,000 hand pamphlets will also be distributed to the residents of Walton Cantonment. In this regard, 13 numbered or Wise Complaint Cells have been set up for public awareness and at the Cantt Board office for 24 hours. A control room was set up.

On the occasion of Eid Al-Zahi 2022, 2598 tons were collected on the first day, 2125 tons on the second day, and 1422 tons on the third day, which is 6145 tons of dead animals, waste of sacrificial animals and garbage etc. Control room set up in Walton Cantonment Board was used to live monitor all rash transfer sessions with the help of tracking system online cameras on first day of Eid 124, second day of Eid 70 and third day of Eid.
Cleaning of all rub points and rash transfer stations was repeated and lime powder was sprinkled on a daily basis while communal altars and rash points were cleaned with file and acid, which caused a lot of public outrage. It has been well received.
13 complaints have been received which is a total of 207 complaints and all the complaints have been redressed.
