Ajoka show cased young talent – Daily Notable

According to the sources of Daily Notable, Students ranging from 4 years to 30 years show cased their talent at an event held on Friday 26 August at PILAC, Lahore.
Students of Ajoka Institute, ranging from years 5 to 35 presented their work developed during the acting and writing courses. Art of Acting-Kids Edition students presented extracts from Ajoka plays for children, “The Last
Tree “ and “Band Gali Kay Bachay”. The performances have been mentored by Institute Director Nirvaan Nadeem alongwith trainers Yusra Irfan and Nida Malik.

The children’s performances were followed by dramatic readings of four original scripts developed by Art of Writing students under the mentorship of Shahid Nadeem. The new writers included Sania Umair, Sameen Rafaqat, Obien Mayo, Sania Dar, Umair Saleem. They were assisted by Ajoka acting and writing students including Fizza Tirmizi, Fahad Zamir, Hassan Zaidi and Anam Jalil.

The event, was graciously supported by the Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture. Dr. Sughra Sadaf distributed certificates to the students of Ajoka Institute.
Parents were overwhelmed with joy upon seeing their children perform with confidence, in front of a houseful audience. It was a successful event with a humbling experience for the Ajoka management team. – PUNA
