Alhamra Will Hold An Evening With Teachers & Students – DN

According to the sources of Daily Notable, The Lahore Arts Council continually strives to promote art, literature and culture in society; the first effort of this institution is to strengthen the connections between art, artists and its audience so that more and more people can be benefited from Alhamra. Continuing this tradition, Alhamra has organized a musical evening of teachers and student performers.

The renowned Ustaad of Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts will participate in this program. Including Ustad Hussain Bakhsh Gullu from the famous Patiala and Sham Chaurasi Gharana of Classical Music, Ustad Sajjad Tafu, the Pakistani classical guitarist, singer-songwriter and music producer, Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Pride of Performance holder in dance Madam Zareen Suleman Panna, Ustad Abdul Rauf, Zohaib Khan and others teachers and students will perform. Moeen Khan on flute, Daud Justin Khan on Tabla and Faisal on the keyboard will also be a part of the program.

Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Rafi Ullah said that we are lucky enough that our country is blessed with great talented artists in the fields of music and art. Alhamra arranged this evening so our youth’s hidden talent could be promoted.
