Alhamra Arts Council organized Rabi-ul-Awal Programs – Daily Notable

According to the sources of Daily Notable, Executive Director of Lahore Arts Council Muhammad Rafiullah has said that Alhamra has organized various prestigious and beautiful programs to shower flowers of love and devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal.
A magnificent calligraphy competition based on the name of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is also being organized.
Artists across the country have taken an immense interest in participating, 180 artists are participating in the competition, and 250 artworks sent by these artists are displayed in four sections of the Alhamra Art gallery. The Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, will inaugurate the exhibition.
ED LAC Muhammad Rafi Ullah said that the calligraphy competition on the name of Muhammad ﷺ is proof that our young artists of today also play their role in the promotion and development of the ancient art of calligraphy.
He further said that the art of calligraphy has a prominent and unique place in the Islamic heritage, and Alhamra is taking care of the calligraphy art by organizing this competition.
It should be noted that the public and artists are eager to see the spiritual visions of the artworks received under the calligraphy competition because these artworks are based on the name of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Quranic verses, Qasida Burda Sharif, and hadiths.
The exhibition will be held on Monday, October 3, at Alhamra Art Gallery, the Mall. – PUNA
