Black Sheep of Punjab Police in Action, kidnapping and ransom money

The capital of province Punjab is under great threat. The guards of people’s respect, honour, safety and security have started manipulating them. Unfortunately, they have started deceiving the citizens in such a manner which one could never think.

The institutions which should be respected the most have started losing their honour. Recently, I came across a news which left me speechless. Sadly, some dishonest servants of public have started kidnapping the naive citizens.

Police officers threaten the citizens and then put them in their cars against forged cases. Afterwards, they demand a handsome amount from them to get released. With no option left, people get to pay them the demanded amounts.

Under such circumstances, where one can look for justice? Who will listen to such incidents? Who would believe them? With cherry on top, who would even complain for these incidents when one’s life is under great pressure? When one’s life becomes the game of do or die, with a family to feed, who can even think of taking any action? Most importantly, where to report such horrible issues?

These incidents are taking place in Lahore, the city with historical, cultural and traditional values, the city of gardens. The city where significant governmental offices reside. What’s the security of this city? Who is incharge of this malicious act? Who to blame and who to look forward to?

Moreover, when I took an interest in this story, many things revealed on me. And when I started working on it, many calls from different numbers brightened the screen of phone. On responding calls, guess what I got? The traditional thing, the threatening calls.

The only price of one’s life, either silent yourself or you’ll be silent for, forever maybe. Well, this has become the norm of our society. The heartbreaking thing is when this is situation in Lahore then what could be going on in other cities. I shall keep updating you on this case.
