Results of Presidential Elections 22 of The Cosmopolitan club

The Cosmopolitan Club Presidential Elections 2022 has been completed. The election day was 27th November 2022.
The Election has been fought between two groups one is Cosmo Group and the other is Cosmo United Group. In the recent elections Cosmo group has won with majority.
In elections it was first time in the club that Cosmo Group won all the seats while only one MC seat was lost. Total number of voters were 950, while thirteen were Life Members. The Cosmo United Group left no stone unturned to defame the Cosmo Group but the club members remained unaffected by such derogatory strategies and casted their vote to the most deserving party. Cosmo Group has made hatrick for the first time in the club’s history to win the league. Moreover, Syed Zawar Hussain Shah has won the elections by significant votes. On the contrary the president who appeared from the opponent group got votes less than Managing Committee candidate of Cosmo Group. Furthermore, it is a very phenomenal achievement for Syed Zawar Hussain Shah.
In this election total votes casted were 730.

There were 16 candidates for Managing Committee Member (MC). Election was fought on Five seats for President, Honorary Secretary, vice President, Joint Secretary, Game Secretary and Managing Committee Members.

Polling agents were present from both sides. Chairman Election Commission of the club were Shoukat Nawaz Gondal, Khalid Nawaz Ghuman, Shahzad Ahmad,
Muhammad Gulzar Ahmed Butt and Intizar Hussain Khokhar.

Winners of the election are
01. Syed Zawar Hussain Shah.(President) secured 521 votes.
02. Ishtiaq Ahmed Lone. (Vice president) secured 436 votes.
03. Tariq Mehmood Malik (Honorary Secretary) secured 487 votes.
04. Rana Nadeem Abbas. (Joint Secretary) secured 401 votes.
05. Hamood Ur Rehman (Game Secretary) secured 459 votes.
06. Amna Ulfat (Managing Committee) secured 444 votes.
07. Hameed Akber Raja (Managing Committee) secured 401 votes.
08. L.aeeq Ahmed CH.
(Managing Committee) secured 356 votes.
09. Jacqueline Jiwan Mall Tressler
(Managing Committee) secured 375 votes.
10. Tariq Mehmood Salimi (Managing Committee) secured 372 votes.
11. Muhammad Suhail Malik (Managing Committee) secured 376 votes.
12. Iftikhar Hussain (Managing Committee) secured 350 votes.
13. Zaib Un Nisa (Managing Committee) secured 368 votes.

The main point is that it was first time that Computerized elections were held and it made history, even not a single incident was reported, it is first time that all candidates and voters were happy. Interestingly, the propaganda of Cosmo United Group brought them no fruits, even they spread white paper, social media posts etc. which are rejected by the majority of club members.
The achievement of Cosmo Group is the result of midnight oil burning of Chairman, Sheikh Muhammad Qadir and Qamar Uz Zaman Babar, Vice chairman. I’ve written all the articles to keep the club members updated. I wish that the winning group serves the club and its members in best way possible and make the voters proud of their selection.
