Reign of Syed Zawar Hussain Shah in The Cosmopolitan Club
The Cosmopolitan Club Presidential Elections 2022 has been completed. The election day was 27th November 2022.
The Election has been fought between two groups one is Cosmo Group and the other is Cosmo United Group. In the recent elections Cosmo group has won with majority.
Syed Zawar Hussain Shah secured the position of President while Ishtiaq Ahmed Lone is serving as Vice president.
Rest of hierarchy is Tariq Mehmood Malik (Honorary Secretary), Rana Nadeem Abbas. (Joint Secretary), Hamood Ur Rehman (Game Secretary), Amna Ulfat (Managing Committee), Hameed Akber Raja (Managing Committee), Laeeq Ahmed CH (Managing Committee), Jacqueline Tressler (Managing Committee), Tariq Mehmood Salimi (Managing Committee), Muhammad Suhail Malik (Managing Committee),
Iftikhar Hussain (Managing Committee) and Mustafa Aslam (Managing Committee).
They have organised new committees for the betterment of club, which are:
Disciplinary Committee,
Scrutiny Development,
Sports, Kitchen,
Social & Cultural and Finance.
Meetings going on to revise the titles of places including, president lounge, the vice president’s room name, the title of library. Elected body has installed two camps and four canopies in lawn for the club members to have quality time. Furthermore, it has introduced club car to facilitate the members.
The priority tasks of the Honorary Secretary Tariq Mehmood Malik and elected cabinet are as follow:
enhancement of kitchen system, establishment of club’s boring water and separate parking for club members. In addition to amplification of furniture and plants, increased provision of hygiene and the healthy interaction of club members through sports and family gathering are also in the to do list of new hierarchy.
Whereas, the donations has been accelerated in newly formed hierarchy which shows the interest, satisfaction and trust of club members in these people.
Syed Zawar Hussain Shah is popular among club members because of his undivided attention and efforts for club and club members. Past speaks of his accomplishments and his vision for coming years will claim his sincerity and love for humanity. His aim is to upgrade the club to an international level.
The Chairman, Sheikh Muhammad Qadri and Vice Chairman, Qamar Uz Zaman Baber of The Cosmo Group of The Cosmopolitan Club Lahore have urged the club members to do everything in their capacity to make the club better. They added, everyone must utilise their resources in order to enhance the club and take it to an international level. – PUNA
