According to the sources of Daily Notable, Caretaker Provincial Minister of Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Dr. Javaid Akram visited the Health Department for the first time after taking oath.
Secretary of Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Dr. Ahmad Javed Qazi welcomed the caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram and presented a bouquet of flowers.
Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr Javaid Akram also presided over a high-level meeting in the Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education. On this occasion, Special Secretaries Syed Wajid Ali Shah and Shoaib Jadoon, Additional Secretries Qurat Al-Ain, Shahida Farrukh, Agha Nabeel and Khalid Parvaiz were present.
Punjab Health Secretary Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi introduced the caretaker provincial health minister Dr. Javed Akram to all the officers. Punjab Health Secretary Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi presented the profile of Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education to the caretaker provincial health minister Dr. Javaid Akram.
Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javaid Akram appreciated the efforts of Secretary of Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi. On this occasion, the caretaker provincial health minister, Dr. Javaid Akram said that the Department of Specialized Health Care and medical education will be made more beneficial for the convenience of patients in government hospitals. Better treatment of patients in government teaching hospitals of Punjab is among the top priorities.
All means will be used to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab. Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi wants to provide better health facilities to the public. Prevention is always better than cure, so we will also work on prevention. Online Complaint Redressal System will be introduced in the Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education to resolve the complaints of applicants.
Secretary Health Punjab Dr. Ahmed Javaid Qazi said on this occasion that we are trying our best to provide better health facilities for the patients coming to the government teaching hospitals of Punjab. We are trying our best to meet the shortage of doctors in the government teaching hospitals of Punjab. In Punjab, more than 32 lacs 65 thousand people have received free treatment worth more than 71 billion rupees through universal health insurance. – PUNA
