According to the sources of Daily Notable, An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Livestock Punjab Masood Anwar.
The central leadership of Pakistan Poultry Association and Poultry Traders Association participated in the meeting. In the meeting, the problems faced by the poultry sector in Punjab were reviewed.
On this occasion, Livestock Secretary said that for long-term planning, the real situation of the market and the sector will be analyzed. In this regard, suggestions are being sought from various stakeholders for solving poultry feed and other problems.
He said that after the assurance of solving the problems of the poultry industry, the reduction in prices is our common commitment. Said that they will improve demand and supply system together with poultry farms and industry.
He further said that fair price shops will be set up in addition to Ramadan bazaars during Ramadan. Secretary Livestock said that the process of registration and licensing of poultry farms and feed mills is also being speeded up.
He directed the Director Poultry Research Institute Rawalpindi to submit a fact-based analysis report on the poultry sector.
Additional and Deputy Secretaries, Director General Research and Director Poultry Research Institute also participated in the meeting. – PUNA
