To combat with smog issues, Lahore High Court ordered to implant more trees in the city. According to the sources of Daily Notable, various tress has been cut down at Jillani Park Jail Road Lahore. According to the sources of Daily Notable the tenders, for improvement/ upgradation Clock Tower at Roundabout, Main Market Gulberg Lahore (worth Rs. 19,034,189/-)and improvement/ upgradation of fountain & water channel at Jillani Park Jail Road (worth Rs. 32,026,526/-) have been completed despite the fact that announcement of tenders is on 31st October, 2023.
