According to the sources of Daily Notable, The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with ACCA Pakistan, organized a Tax Clinic at its premises aimed to provide free tax assistance to the members.
The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry is first Chamber, not only in Pakistan but in Asia who took unprecedented measure by establishing Tax Clinic in collaboration with ACCA Pakistan. LCCI members can have advice from professional and experienced tax practitioners on taxation matters.
Managing Partner of Millennium Law & Corporate Company Umer Zaheer Meer gave consultation to the LCCI members on refunds, notices, audits and various other tax related issues and also addressed their quires.
President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashif Anwar especially attended the Tax Clinic and shed light on the aims and objectives of this initiative.
LCCI-ACCA Tax Clinic will provide free of cost taxation consultation to LCCI members every Thursday from 2 to 4pm. During the Tax Clinic, importance of documentation was emphasized.
It is important that every business should be documented which also help them in audit and any other tax related matter.
