According to the sources of Daily Notable, a team from the Sindh Food Authority carried out a significant operation in the Korangi region, directed by Director General Agha Fakhar Hussain. A warehouse containing past-due juice and mineral water was discovered during the operation.
From the warehouse, a significant amount of expired juice packets and mineral water bottles were found. The crew from Sindh Food Authority immediately disposed of all expired juice packets and bottles of mineral water. It should be noted that fresh papers were affixed to empty juice and mineral water bottles in the aforementioned facility.
Trying to ensure supply of contaminated free food items during Ramadan-ul-Mubarak. DG Agha Fakhar Hussain warned the sellers of contaminated food items to keep themselves away from their activities otherwise strict action would be taken against them under Sindh Food Authority Act. – PUNA
