Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday for an official visit, receiving a symbolic honor as Saudi F-15 fighter jets escorted his aircraft upon entering the Kingdom’s airspace.
During the flight, the Prime Minister expressed deep appreciation to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and King Salman bin Abdulaziz for the warm gesture of welcome extended by the Royal Saudi Air Force.
The Prime Minister is visiting the Kingdom at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, federal ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Attaullah Tarar, Musadik Malik, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
As part of the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss the full range of bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The two leaders are also expected to deliberate on regional and international issues of shared concern, with the goal of enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors.
