Pakistan Navy ships visit Oman and Iran during overseas deployment

According to the sources of Daily Notable, Pakistan Naval Fleet comprising PNS RAHNAWARD & RASADGAR along with PN Submarine HASHMAT port called Muscat, Oman and Bandar Abbas, Iran during overseas deployment.
On arrival at the ports of the host countries, the ships of the Pakistan Navy were warmly welcomed by representatives of the Pakistani embassies and officials of the host navies. The mission commander together with the commanding officers of the ships called on the naval leadership of both countries.
Matters of common interest and cooperation in the field of maritime security, Pakistan’s shipbuilding capabilities, training opportunities in PN including sea training were discussed during the interactions.
The Commander of the Mission expressed the wishes of the Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi to the people of the host countries in general and the host navies in particular.
Various bilateral activities including shipboard unit exchange visits, orientation visits to military installations and coordination meetings took place during the port stops. Students from Pakistan School Muscat and members of the Pakistani community also visited PN Ships.
After completing a port call in Iran, the PN ships participated in a transit with the Iranian Navy ship IRIS KAMAN to improve interoperability.
The PN Flotilla’s port visits to Oman and Iran will further strengthen the existing close diplomatic ties and cordial relations with friendly countries. – PUNA
