Commander Kenya Navy visits Naval Headquarters, Islamabad

According to the sources of Daily Notable, Kenya Navy Commander, Major General Jimson Longiro Mutai visited the Islamabad Naval Command and invited the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.
Upon arrival at the Naval Headquarters, the distinguished guest was received by the Chief of the Naval Staff. Cleverly, the Pakistan Navy contingent presented a guard of honor. The dignitary then laid a floral wreath at Shuhada’s memorial and was introduced to the Chief Staff Officers of the Naval Command.
Later, the Chief of the Kenyan Navy called the Chief of Naval Staff to his office. Matters of common interest, including bilateral cooperation and the regional maritime security environment, were discussed during the meeting.
The Navy Chief highlighted Pakistan Navy’s initiatives to ensure maritime security and peace in the region through regional maritime security patrols.
The visiting admiral appreciated and acknowledged the efforts and commitments of the Pakistan Navy to promote joint maritime security in the region. Later, the Kenyan Navy Commander was briefed in detail about the roles and operational capabilities of the Pakistan Navy.
The Kenyan Navy Commander’s ongoing visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries. – PUNA
