Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that there can never be any alternative to Prime Minister Imran Khan in the party. Whenever PTI comes to power Imran Khan will be the Prime Minister. He was talking with PTI MNA Sadaqat Abbasi during a meeting on Friday at Governor House, Lahore.

Governor Punjab said that the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf is standing firm with the Prime Minister Imran Khan like a rock. The Public has given us a five years mandate.
Imran Khan will be Prime Minister in 2023 too. All resources will be channelized and spent for domestic development.
Moreover, He said that the government is implementing practical mechanisms to solve the economic woes of the country. He said we believe in across the board accountability in Pakistan. All institutions, including NAB, are working independently without any pressure.
We are making institutions strong and cleaning them from political interference. While Corrupt persons irrespective of political affiliations will be held accountable.
For the first time, decisions are being made on the basis of merit and transparency in Pakistan. Moreover, Across the board accountability is indispensable for the progress of Pakistan.

Allied Parties
Governor Punjab said that all allied parties are standing by the government. In the budget, allied parties also supported the government. No ally is talking about thwarting the government.
Government will complete a five years term. People have mandated us to rule for five years. He said that Pakistan is facing multiple challenges including Corona at this time. Government is trying to overcome all challenges.
MNA Sadaqat Abbasi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is the only leader who can get rid of corruption and other issues.

In addition, Bankruptcy of University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar took notice of bankruptcy of University of Engineering and Technology Lahore.
Governor Punjab instructed to not make any cut to salaries of university staff and pay their full dues.
Emergency Meeting
According to details, on Friday, Governor Punjab chaired an emergency meeting held in Governor House Lahore. Chairman HEC Punjab Fazal Ahmed Khalid, Minister Higher Education Raja Yasir Hamayun, Vice Chancellor UET Mansoor Sarwar, Secretary Finance, Secretary HED, and Principal Secretary to Governor Punjab attended the meeting.
In the meeting, it announced that no deduction in salaries of staff would made and dues will also timely paid. Governor Punjab announced to formulate a high level Committee chaired by Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission.
Furthermore, Vice Chancellor UET Mansoor Sarwar, Secretary Finance, Secretary HED, will be members of the committee. Punjab government will also pay liabilities of university owed by the government in installments.
Governor Punjab Mohammad Sarwar said, during the meeting, that Pakistan is facing difficult times due to Corona, but we will solve all issues of universities.
There will no deduction made to salaries of staff. We will solve issues of universities on priority basis. However, Government will use all resources to address universities’ issues.
