According to the sources of Daily Notable, during Eid-ul-Adha, in connection with the sanitation operation, Walton Cantt was divided into 7 sectors. In which 5 stationary inspectors, 8 stationary supervisors, 12 sanitary mats, 1270 sanitary workers and 338 kins vehicles participated.
These include excavator, dumper truck compactor, tractor bucket, tractor trolley bus pickup and so on. A control room was set up at the Walton Cantonment Board office. Who worked 24 hours a day.
In addition, in the Walton Cantt area, 12 complaint cells were set up, and public problems were quickly resolved within 25 minutes. In addition, live monitoring and tracking of supervisory staff and vehicles was carried out. 600 steamers and banners were installed for public awareness and one lakh biodegradable bags were distributed among people.
Station Commander Brigadier Sajid Muzaffar and CEO Syed Ali Irfan Rizvi visited the control room and the entire Cantt area. In the control room, the CEO Walton Cantonment Board gave a briefing on the entire operation. Waris Bhatti Public Health Officer briefed about the ongoing activities during the visit. On the three days of Eid, all the transfer stations and rubbish points were emptied and washed with phenyl. Disinfection has been sprayed on all the rubbish points and on sacrificial points.
The work of sanitation has been appreciated by the station commander and CEO. 3978 tons on the first day of Eid, 3016 tons on the second day and 1500 on the third day. Tonnes (Total 8494 Tons of Dumps and etc. were removed and disposed of.
In addition, 96 Complaints were received in the Control Room on the first day and 69 Complaints on the second day and 20 Complaints on the third day (Total 185 Complaints). The monitoring team set up by CEO Walton Cantt received 71 complaints on the first day, 65 complaints on the second day and 28 complaints on the third day.
