According to the sources of Daily Notable, A delegation of Sikh pilgrims from New Zealand visited Lahore for the first time and expressed their appreciation for the hospitality they received. The visit was organized by Visit 2 Pakistan, with the aim of promoting Pakistan’s culture and tourism.
The delegation was satisfied with the security measures in place for their religious places of worship and with the facilities provided by the government of Pakistan. During their visit, they also toured the Wagah border of Lahore and the city’s historical buildings. The delegation praised the people of Lahore for their warm hospitality.
Naveed Hamid, the Director of Visit 2 Pakistan, thanked the High Commission of Pakistan in Wallington, New Zealand for their support in facilitating the Sikhs delegation’s visit. He also expressed his hope that such visits will continue to promote Pakistan’s interests. – PUNA
