According to the sources of Daily Notable, Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has called upon the well-known international off-road car racer Sahibzada Sultan Muhammad Ali and well-known artist, fashion designer Yusuf Bashir Qureshi at his office. In the meeting, they discussed the steps to further highlight the tourist and cultural places of Sindh.
In the meeting, Provincial Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah reiterated his determination to organize the Thar Desert Jeep Rally to promote tourism in Thar and said that he wants to take such steps which will promote the tourism of Sindh and the world will see our ancient places and learn more about historical heritage.
He accompanied with Sahibzada Sultan Muhammad Ali and Yusuf Bashir Qureshi visited the Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (PITHM), a subsidiary of the Department of Culture and Tourism. Director Hidayatullah Memon was also present on this occasion. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, while giving a detailed briefing to the guests during the visit to PITHM, said that Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management is making Pakistan famous around the world.
They are trained and informed about the tourist and cultural places of Pakistan apart from food, through their training, the graduates of the institution are making people familiar with the taste of not only the traditional food of Pakistan but also the food eaten all over the world at the international level.
The Provincial Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah said that the dishes prepared by the students under training at the Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management with the help of the Sindh government are provided to them to eat, while the students under training in other institutions can eat the dishes prepared by them by paying the regular price.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari wants the youth of Sindh to shine the name of Pakistan at every forum of the world, that is why we are providing all possible facilities to our youth and students, he added. Apart from this, international dishes prepared by the students were also served to the guests.
On this occasion, Sahibzada Sultan and Yusuf Bashir Qureshi praised the food and presentation prepared by the undertraining students in the institution and also appreciated the taste. They said that PITHM, a subsidiary of Sindh Culture and Tourism Department, is truly playing an important role in highlighting the culture and tourism of Sindh and Pakistan around the world.
The guests appreciated the initiatives of the Provincial Minister for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Sindh Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and assured their all possible support. At the end of the meeting, Provincial Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah presented copies of the antiquities found at Mohan Jo Daro as a gift to the guests. – PUNA
