Pakistan Academy of Letters – Paid Condolences – Daily Notable

According to details, Dr Yousuf Kushk, Chairman, Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) has expressed his condolences on the sad demise of famous, prominent as well as renowned Pothohari poet, writer, intellectual and chairman of Pothohari Language and Cultural Council, anchorperson along with broadcaster Syed Al-e- Imran.

In his condolence message, Dr Yusuf Kushk said that Syed Al Imran has done a great job for Pothohari literature and culture. Syed Al-Imran’s services to the Pothohar region are not hidden from anyone. His efforts in upbringing the Potahari literature needs no introduction. The way he groomed his innate skills and used them fully to serve public are remarkable. People who love their soil always live in history, so is he.
Furthermore, he said that Syed Al-Imran’s historical works will live forever and adds to the glamorous history of his region. Pothohari literature is incomplete without him. He rendered his valuable services to Pothohari literature.

His books are an illumination for the new generation in Pakistan’s Pothohari language and literature. With his demise, Pakistani literature and especially, Pothohari literature has lost a significant writer.
Moreover, Chairman PAL Dr Yousuf Khushak prayed for forgiveness of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear this loss.
